FALL ARREST

One of the simplest Rigging accessories, but an essential element in any Fall Arrest package.

A good shock absorbing lanyard is invaluable in a fall arrest situation. The shock absorber element will reduce the shock impact to less than 6 KN, and so reduces the chance of you being injured. The DarkSide Rigging and Fall Arrest Specialists are proud to bring you our new “NEO” range of single and double shock absorbing lanyards, as well as a tried and tested range of standard lanyards, all with a variety of end fittings available.

A single lanyard enables you to clip onto a continuous lifeline. These are best used when you clip on and stay on. Double lanyards are a worthy investment for the operator who is clipping on and off from various lifelines – two hooks means you are never disconnected from your lifeline.
